British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair met personally to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.

"I give him credit for that."

Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Still, the novice continues to be one of the sport's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
